Please follow the stock providers rules. The location of these can be found under the challenge image.

In addition to this, we ask that you list all stock used and where it has come from - this includes personal resources. This is to maintain the integrity of the club and uphold the rules of dA stock providers.
Please see this news article in reference to crediting stock from Stock Xchng. We reccomend using the method used below.

When downloading stock from sxc your browser will automatically save it as a number. Change this to the name of the stock provider - in our example CraigPJ. Then when you come to use it, you just enter [link]ww.sxc.hu/profile/CraigPJ and voila! You have their homepage Easy as pie

Any entries not crediting as per our guidelines will be disallowed.

We do not accept any submissions containing copyrighted images, or images found on google image search,
unless you have the express written permission of the copyright holder.

We accept any artform that manipulates the image or uses it as a direct visual reference. Unfortunately this does exclude literature, and makes some artforms (e.g. fractal and pixel) a challenge. We do accept photography as long as the link is obvious.

USING TEXTURES IN TRADITIONAL AND PHOTOGRAPHIC MEDIA Just treat it as another reference piece. Let's say it's a rust texture, with some patches of blue and green - textures aren't just a digital overlay! Incorporate the colours into your work, the rusty reds and cool minty greens - that's the easiest way to use it. For photos photograph your subject against a rusty car, for painting mix some sand into red paint to give a rusty finish to your work. Be creative!



Entries must be made specifically for the contest. This means they must be made the week before the closing date.

There are almost always multiple polls as DA only gives you 10 slots per poll. So there is always a SHOW ME THE RESULTS PLZ option on every poll - please only vote ONCE for your favourite, and use the aforementioned 'show me the results' options in any remaining polls.

Due to an increasing problem with soliciting for votes, you may not link to, or even mention, the polls, in any way, shape or form. Anywhere. Want to know why? Try reading Week 22. Don't think you can find a way around it, we will find out.

Anyone found soliciting for votes in any way will be removed from the poll. Multiple breaches of this rule will result in being barred from taking part in the contest. This is not, and will never be, a popularity contest.
